It’s hard to believe this week marks one year since we launched Ginger Threads Collections! When we envisioned opening a sustainable fashion boutique the Pandemic was not in sight. We created a logo, built a website and started finding brands to partner with, even attending a huge fashion market in Las Vegas! As the inventory started coming in, the Covid-19 cases around the world started to climb. The boutique officially launched as planned on March 18, 2020 as the United States went under a stay-at-home order. It certainly wasn’t ideal, but it was too late to turn back!
As a sustainable fashion boutique it is important to us who we partner with.As a result, we have found some pretty incredible companies who are making a really big difference one accessory at a time. People have become our biggest joy in this business... both our partners and our customers. We picked just five artisans whose mission’s are all about making a difference to share with you today. Your support of us and of them, helps support that mission and for that we are forever grateful!
I’ve always said - one last chance may be an opportunity of a lifetime! What if you get fired and find your true calling! Anything can be a positive if you take a different look. But most of all, take that chance because you don’t always know if it is your one last chance!
November is National Gratitude month. Several years ago I found myself in a funk and friend recommended a gratitude practice that I still use today. At the time, I had so many things not going my way and I was very focused on those things. But, when you assess your life, there is way more to be thankful for than not. Let us know what gratitude practice you may already be using!
